1. Our Commitment

Physiomedicine is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, including those with disabilities. We aim to conform to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

2. Accessibility Features on This Website

  • Semantic HTML5 structure with logical heading hierarchy (H1 → H2 → H3)
  • All images include descriptive alt text
  • Sufficient colour contrast ratios (WCAG AA standard: 4.5:1 for normal text)
  • Keyboard-navigable interface — all interactive elements accessible without a mouse
  • Resizable text without loss of content or functionality
  • Skip-to-content link available at top of page
  • Forms include visible labels and error messages
  • Videos (where present) will include captions
  • No content flashes more than three times per second (seizure risk avoidance)

3. Known Limitations

We are aware of the following known accessibility issues we are working to resolve:

  • The TM3 online booking widget is a third-party tool — we have limited ability to adjust its accessibility. If you have difficulty using it, please call us to book by phone.
  • Some older PDF documents on the site may not be fully accessible. We are reviewing and replacing these.
  • Embedded Google Maps may not be fully accessible via keyboard navigation — please use the "Get Directions" link as an alternative.

This website is built on WordPress using the Elementor page builder. We use modern, standards-compliant HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.

We use the following assistive technologies in our testing:

  • Keyboard-only navigation testing
  • Browser zoom up to 200%
